Thermoplastic olefin body panels that are puncture resistant, cold-weather resistant, and closely color matched to the extra-durable automotive-grade polyurethane paint that goes on them. And on the electric, a motor control unit that moderates speed on downhill stretches and simultaneously recharges the batteries. We gave this a lot of thought, and we came to this realization: The DRIVE is too great a car to limit itself to hauling golf clubs from one hole to the next. Lofty a purpose as this may be, we wanted more. And we set about designing accessories for The DRIVE that install easily, fit perfectly and turn a great golf car into a one-of-a-kind special-purpose vehicle that works extraordinarily well for whatever you need it to do.
